Student Garden Bed Construction Event
How many of you like gardening? Would you like to be able to garden in between your classes? Your Student Government is moving forward on the construction of a new student garden and we need your help!
What: Constructing raised beds for the brand new student garden.
Where: Meet at the SCC Student Government Office in the Lair.
When: 2:30pm on Thursday the 14th of November.

ReplyDeleteHow is the garden's use going to be determined? Is this garden going to be for growing edibles/vegetables? It would be very awesome to have a vegetable garden on campus... and sustainable.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, this is a great project and I'm glad our school is working on it.
Thank you for your comment. The current plan is for the garden to focus on edibles (annuals and perennials) and be organic. The garden is student run but open to the entire SCC community. I should have more information to post soon about the garden but comments and ideas are always welcomed and I hope to see everyone at the upcoming event!
